The campus community will celebrate the opening of Panther Village Phase I at a dedication event Thursday, September 6. A program at 3:15 p.m. will be followed by a reception and tours. Panther Village is located south of Hagemann, Rider, Shull and Noehren Halls and Redeker Center.
Panther Village will be home to 204 students living in two-bedroom, four-bedroom and studio apartments. Residents will have the convenience of living on campus plus the academic and social advantages of living close to classes and campus activities. The majority of Panther Village residents have signed up for a meal plan so they will have the added advantage of saving money in UNI dining centers. Panther Village Phase II will open Fall 2013 with apartments for approximately 250 students.
