Dining Operations

The health, safety and well-being of our students, staff and guests always has been and continues to be our number one priority. While we love nothing more than providing a welcoming environment for our guests to enjoy conversation among great food, we take the guidance from the government and local health officials very seriously and want to do our part in limiting the spread of coronavirus.

Within our dining locations, we are actively reinforcing proper handwashing and health standards with our team. We have also increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting high traffic areas. We are taking necessary steps to monitor staff health and provide proper guidance for their well-being. We are committed to adopting all new recommendations from public health officials.

In response to the university’s decision to continue online learning for the remainder of the Spring and the Summer semesters and a very small number of students remaining in the residence halls, we have closed many of our dining operations across campus.

For the remainder of the spring semester, Piazza dining center and Biscotti’s convenience store, both in Redeker Center, will be the two dining operations that will remain open to serve guests.

BISCOTTI’S
Biscotti’s will continue to serve guests similar to the regular academic year, with reduced hours. Guests can purchase items with remaining Dining Dollars or other standard forms of payment.

PIAZZA
Piazza will be open to serve meals to-go for meal plan holders only. Venue and menu options will be reduced, but you will still find many favorites every day. Service hours will also be reduced. Daily menus can be viewed online, however please note that modifications to menu items may be made, based on product availability.

As you enter the dining center, please wash your hands (either utilizing the restrooms outside of or the sink directly inside of the north entrance) before getting containers to collect your meal.

To uphold social distancing protocol, we may limit the number of guests allowed at one time in either Biscotti’s or Piazza. We ask that you keep at least six feet between yourself and others. Guests will not be able to remain in the dining center to enjoy their meal to ensure the principles of social distancing are observed. Thank you for your understanding and patience if you are asked to wait to enter.

As always, thank you for your continued understanding and support as we all navigate through this time of uncertainty. We are committed to providing you with the same level of service through a challenging situation. And offering a friendly smile along the way.

Stay safe and be well.
