UNI Catering Wins Best Pork Entry at 2018 Beers To You And Gourmet Too
UNI Catering & Events won first place for their pork entry at the 2018 Beers To You And Gourmet Too held Sunday, January 28 at the Waterloo Convention Center in Downtown Waterloo.
The winning pork entry was a slider that consisted of Pork Butt rubbed in Cajun Seasoning injected with Breckenridge Mango Mosaic American Pale Ale with touches of Bay Leaf, Orange Peel and Liquid Smoke and topped with Mango Chipotle Slaw. Rob Hamilton, Chef de Cuisine, led the culinary team in creating this winning combination.
“It is an honor to be receiving this award at the 11th annual Beers To You And Gourmet Too event,” stated Jill Chelesvig, UNI Catering General Manager. UNI Catering & Events took home Best Beef Entry in 2017.
